What the heck is a Ginger? (Dispelling rumors and spreading knowledge)

So what is a Ginger? You may have heard of a Ginger from a little show called South Park. (I don't watch it myself...but I have found that this is where it originated.) I researched us...and found out some rumors, and truths!

RUMOR # 1: Redheads or 'Gingers' have no soul. There are many rumors flying about that Ginger's have no soul. This is so not true. We have two souls...one for our bodies...and one for our hair. So take that unintelligent media, we have TWICE the soul you have...plus...I think YOU'RE the one without a soul. How does it feel?
But all joking aside, a Ginger (or Daywalker) is just a person with red hair, freckles, pale skin, and maybe even a whole lot of attitude. (see rumor #2)

RUMOR #2: Do redheads really have fiery temperaments? Well...this one is a little inconclusive, there really is no way to tell. Many instances show that they DO have a higher irritability than most, but to be perfectly honest, there is no way to know if it is because they have red hair. (I have known some pretty witchy blondes and brunettes too!)

RUMOR #3: Redheads need more anesthetic than people with other hair colors. There have been two studies, one that shows that redheads are more sensitive to thermal pain, but less sensitive to electrically induced pain. Researchers have also found that people with red hair need more anesthetic than those with other hair colors. This is because of a mutation in the skin pigmentation hormone, and the pain relieving hormone (endorphins)

RUMOR #4: Are redheads going extinct? Absolutely not. If you want to learn more about it (because I don't feel like typing the whole thing out) click on this link. http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/life/genetic/redhead-extinction.htm

So there you are, some rumors have been dispelled...and proven! Hoorah!
And now, for our redhead of the day.

Prince Harry. Some people have been saying that his red hair is from an affair that Princess Di had...but, the royal family has had a long line of red heads, so don't call him the redheaded step child just yet.
